03/17/09Bill Rankin and Nick Pumford shot under par in the final round at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate as U-M overcame a slow start to finish in the top half of the field.
Bill Rankin used an even-par 72 to help the Wolverines post a 294 second-day total and move up to 14th after the second day of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate.
Nick Pumford's first-round 75 places him tied for 35th individually to lead the Wolverines, who sit in 18th after the first day of the Pinehurst Intercollegiate.
