Michigan CheerleadingUniversity of Michigan Cheerleading
The Michigan cheerleading program, supported and directed by the U-M Athletic Department, aims to increase fan support at athletic events and to raise the level of public support for the University of Michigan. The cheerleaders represent the university at athletic and alumni events at the local, state and national levels.
 
Michigan Dance TeamUniversity of Michigan Dance Team
The Michigan Dance Team performs at many varsity athletic events, including all men's home basketball games and before all home football games. In addition to the variety of performances on campus, the team also represents the University of Michigan at the National College Dance Team Championship, where they finished among the top eight teams in the country for the last five years. Auditions take place in April and September.
